Since its establishment in 2019, with its nearly 20 employees, it has built up a comprehensive portfolio in the areas of information and IT security. This includes technical security assessments such as penetration tests of infrastructures, web applications, or mobile applications. TÜV TRUST IT is a renowned company for information security consulting and certification. TÜV TRUST IT's competencies have been confirmed by the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) with certification as an IT security service provider for IS auditing, IS consulting and penetration tests. This partnership combines the expertise of two leading organizations to deliver a comprehensive and effective solution for enhancing information security.

ePrivacy is part of a major research project which is funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research. The objective of this research is to develop a data custodianship for federated artificial intelligence in medicine in cooperation with the University of Hamburg, and the Medical University of Greifswald. A large amount of medical data can only be used to a very limited extent, due to high data protection requirements. This highly sensitive data is essential for drug and therapy research. The research project deals with big medical data processing in compliance with data protection regulations in Germany. This research is also part of the European data strategy.

The Health Innovation Port (HIP) is a Health Hub in Hamburg. Founded in 2017 by Philips, Techniker Krankenkasse (TK) and the City of Hamburg, it brings together health start-ups and established players in the healthcare industry. Young companies from the fields of Digital Health and MedTech benefit from a workplace with a professional infrastructure at the HIP. In addition, the HIP offers the start-ups support through mentoring as well as access to a thematically broad, exclusive partner and expert network - with the common goal of driving innovative ideas and shaping the healthcare market of the future. 

MME is s Swiss solicitor's office with locations in Zurich and Zug, which offset integrated services in the areas of legal, tax and compliance. In the areas IT law and data protection compliance MME has specialized early (1999). The area of IT law and data protection compliance is run by Dr. Martin Eckert, who has cofounded the international specialist's network World IT Lawyers

With the partnership with MME the trusted seals of ePrivacy gain in importance, besides European member states, also in Switzerland. As an important financial market location Swiss enterprises have special need in data protection and data security. ePrivacy and MME together form a strong and experienced partnership.

Dr. Frank Eickmeier is a lawyer and partner in the (IT/IP) law firm Unverzagt von Have, and consultant for domestic and international clients including well known online marketers, targeting providers, media agencies, content producers and Web 2.0 platforms. The firm spezializes in data protection law.

Lighthouse Europe is a consultancy, based in Brussels and Paris, specialized in European strategies and public affairs related to the digital economy. The collaboration with Lighthouse Europe enables ePrivacy to spread awareness and responsible handling of personal data in the European digital market, especially in France and Belgium.

Project „AUDITOR“ of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology develops Europe-wide certification of cloud services. Cloud use is booming worldwide and with it the abundance of cloud service providers and certification bodies. The „AUDITOR“ research project therefore aims to create clarity and more legal certainty in this area and, based on preliminary work from the "Trusted Cloud" technology programme, to develop uniform certification throughout Europe, incorporating established standardisation: An interdisciplinary team of scientists and companies is developing a data protection certification for cloud services, which is to be used as a standard in practice throughout Europe on the basis of the new EU data protection law.

Certification in accordance with the EU GDPR is in the interests of all parties involved: the cloud customers, who may only work with cloud providers who can provide sufficient guarantees of data protection compliance; the cloud providers, who can offer precisely this level of security with certification; the testing and certification bodies, for whose field of business the GDPR provides mandatory rules; and at the end the consumers potentially affected by the use of the data where the protection of their personal data is in the focus of the certification of cloud services.


Prof. Dr. Christoph Bauer and Dr. Frank Eickmeier has been accredited as consultants (BDSG old version) at the Unabhaengige Landeszentrum für Datenschutz (ULD) Schleswig-Holstein.

The ULD is a state department of Schleswig-Holstein. It administrates state control and advisory functions in the area of data analysis and freedom of information, and is committed to ending violations of data protection laws.

"Digital-Gipfel" is the central platform for collaboration with policy, business and academia to strengthen the ICT location in Germany. "Digital-Gipfel" is held annually since 2006.

Startupbootcamp was founded in 2010 in Copenhagen with a core mission of supporting entrepreneurs through all stages of their growth. It is a global group of industry-focused accelerators. They support early-stage tech founders rapidly scale their companies by providing direct access to an international network of the most relevant mentors, partners, and investors in their industry.

The central concerns of the German Association for Information Technology , Telecommunications and New Media - BITKOM are policy advocacy , networking and exchange specialists . The organization represents medium sized companies , as well as start- ups and acts as a qualified contact on topics: such as ECM , software and IT services , security and trust , law and taxation , telecommunications and web , technology and convergence , as well as data protection and international business development . ePrivacy is approved by the European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance (EDAA) as an independent certification provider for the EDAA Trust Seal. This privacy seal is especially aimed to the sector of online behavioral advertisement and documents the compliance with the iab Europe OBA Framework.

The EDAA was established in 2011 by a number of European digital and advertising industry associations. The Brussels-based organization regulates compliance with the requirements of the iab Europe OBA Framework.

The Bundesverband Digitale Wirtschaft (BVDW) e.V. is the organisation representing the interests of companies in the fields of interactive marketing, digital content and interactive added value. ePrivacy is a longstanding member at the BVDW, and participated in the introduction of the “OBA Agreement” in various workshops at the International Advertising Board EU (IAB EU).

This collaboration ensures that ePrivacy is immediatly aware of new developments in the digital economy, and can adjust to them accordingly.

The BiM - Bundesverband Internetmedizin offers a platform for the service professionals, payers and providers of medical internet services in direct cooperation with the medical fraternity. The BiM exerts itself for he fact that in Germany the internet medicine can be promoted with all partners and in particular with the know-how and the independence of the qualified doctors. 

The explained aims of the BiM include, among others, the development of guidelines, standards and limits for the offer of internet medicine, the quality certification for suppliers of healthcare information and services on the internet and the establishment of a communication platform for all suggestions and developments in th field of internet medicine. 

Prof. Dr. Christoph Bauer is member of the Health-i Board, an initiative of the newspaper Handelsblatt and the health insurance Techniker Krankenkasse, that brings together experts from various fields in a think tank about the healthcare industry. The expert board consists of doctors, professors, journalists, bloggers, entrepreneurs and politicians.

The Interactive Advertising Bureau of European Member States (IAB Europe) is the voice of digital business. Its mission is to protect, promote and professionalize Europe’s online advertising, media, research and analytics industries. Together with its members – companies and national trade associations – IAB Europe represents over 5,500 organisations.

ePrivacy is a member of IAB Europe and has participated in the design and introduction of the voluntary commitment for targeted advertising (IAB Europe OBA Framework). Prof. Dr. Christoph Bauer is a member of the Policy Committee of IAB Europe.

IAB France (Interactive Advertising Bureau) was founded in 1998 to structure the internet communication market, promote use and optimize efficiency. IAB France is part of IAB europa and has 130 members. They represent all actors in the interactive communication chain (publishers, boards, agencies, advertisers, research institutes, technology providers, etc.).

ePrivacy is committed in IAB France since March 2017.

The association Gesundheitsmetropole Hamburg e.V. fosters exchange and networking among entrepreneurs of health businesses in Hamburg. The members aim to investigate trends and innovations of the healthcare sector and to support Hamburg as a healthcare location.
